James M. Houston, CFP®

James joined RCM Investments in 2014. Prior to joining RCM Investments, James worked for 18 years in a similar role for Turnberry Financial Services. James was an integral part of helping Turnberry grow from $6 million in assets under management to over $200 million in assets. James brings an array of skills to the RCM team including an expertise in constructing and managing low volatility investment portfolios, conducting manager due diligence, stress testing portfolios, and building reporting systems. James also has experience in evaluating and implementing alternative investment strategies including covered-call income strategies, long-short stock, fixed income strategies, and managed futures.

James graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance. He has been a Certified Financial Planner™ professional since 2006. Another of James great accomplishments is raising his four daughters with his beautiful wife Heather. James enjoys, fishing, surfing, boating and studying Meteorology along with supporting his daughters who all play competitive soccer.

James holds a series 65 registration.
